Sustainable at Livegreen Toronto Festival

This past Saturday, July 21st, SUSTAINABLE.TO exhibited at the Live Green Toronto Festival. The festival was lively, full of hundreds of exhibiting groups and organizations from every conceivable industry, all with one thing in common: a strong commitment to Toronto’s sustainable future. The SUSTAINABLE.TO booth was very high traffic- thanks in no small part to the delicious farmer’s market display located immediately beside us- which enabled us to speak with many Torontonians and field a diverse body of questions, with topics ranging from: “Is it worth it to ‘go solar’” and “What makes a home ‘green,’” to technical questions about the individual’s own home and stories about their own efforts to do their part for the sustainability movement. We were impressed with the knowledge, interest, and varied backgrounds of the people we met, and were thrilled to be able to offer our own experience and expertise. After a great day in Yonge-Dundas square, one thing is certain- we’ll be back again next year!
